I have a 17 week puppy who is a chewing machine. He loves this toy!
My dogs love yak cheese chews, and these are no exception.
The holder is nice, but using it does have a slight flaw - the cheese tends to break off around the holes.
As well, the cheese chews don't last as long as some others I've had due to their smaller, thinner size.
Overall, though, my dogs love this, though I certainly don't love the mess!
Most dog owners are aware that these yak chews can actually hurt dogs once its gets small enough. This handy contraption resolves that issue. Its really easy to put together and it comes with 4 yak chews with holes already drilled in! You just unscrew it, put the yak chew in it and screw it back. That way the toy holds it in place and wont let the dog get to the part they can choke on. The yak chews that it came with were pretty big too! My dogs took to this fast and loved it! Now I can order more and use this with peace of mind. 10/10 want to buy another for my other dog so they can both chew in peace at the same time üòÖ
The cheese bones have a hole at the bottom. In the side, you'll see that yellow thing which you untwist with, then stick the bone in and screw it back until it won't go further to keep the bone in place.
The idea is they hold it with their paws and gnaw away.
As you can see in my final picture, Rocky did, in fact, gnaw away lol
He loves it and his cousin daisy loves it, these actually hers on the carpet. They literally eat it I guess?
Anyway, these come highly recommended by two genuine puppets so go ahead and treat yo doggo
